Throughout the year, we hold a wide selection of workshops focusing on growing, food & drink  and learning rural crafts.   These are ideal Christmas gifts for anyone who enjoys being outdoors and learning something new.

Kakawa Artisan Chocolate is a recent and very welcome addition to the Brogdale community. They have a fabulous range of chocolate and other confectionery which you can buy from their shop at Brogdale or order online from their website. 

They have also started running chocolate making workshops – a terrific gift idea for the chocolate-lover in your life.

Fruit trees and shrubs from Brogdale

Grow at Brogdale is a fruit tree nursery in the unique position of grafting its fruit trees from the National Fruit Collection’s rootstocks.  This means you can buy some very rare and heritage fruit trees, grown here on your doorstep.

The staff at Grow are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fruit tree care and growing.  They can offer expert advice on the right kind of tree to suit your outdoor space.

A fruit tree is the perfect idea for an unusual and personal gift.

Local food, drink and gifts

Mad Cat Brewery at Brogdale is now selling its fabulous range of craft beers via its website for click and collect or local delivery.  They have launched three special Christmas beers called The Followed Star, Christmas Jumper and Santa Paws – which are available in bottles or mini-kegs.  A great idea for presents or even for your own consumption! Why not treat yourself?!

In 2022, Mad Cat will be reviving their very popular brewery tours.  A nice idea would be to buy gift vouchers on their website which the lucky recipient you could use to buy beers, merchandise or to pay for a tour.  Something for every beer-lover!

The Tiddly Pomme is our popular shop in the Market Place at Brogdale which sells locally produced food and drink along with books, gifts and much more. Brogdale Farm is located in countryside on the edge of Faversham and surrounded by hundreds of acres of orchards.  It’s a lovely place to visit and a great place to enjoy Christmas shopping in Faversham.  So do pop up and say hello, our tenants would love to see you.  You can pick up a couple of Christmas presents at the same time.

Whilst visiting, you could great yourself to a delicious breakfast, lunch or cream tea at The Courtyard at Brogdale.  This café and restaurant is family run and serves freshly prepared food using many local ingredients.  Their milkshakes are legendary and worth a visit in themselves!
