Courses at Brogdale – perfect Christmas gifts

Give the gift of a rural experience for Christmas

Brogdale Collections in Faversham has a packed programme of rural workshops planned for 2022 which are perfect gifts for anyone who loves growing, making or nature. Many of the courses take place in the orchards and buildings at Brogdale and are delivered by friendly, knowledgeable specialists.

Sara Smile from Brogdale says: “Brogdale Collections is home to the National Fruit Collection and part of the Charity’s role is to provide educational opportunities to the public.  Brogdale is the perfect place to learn about growing fruit, gardening, nature and rural crafts.  Shoppers can pay for a course or buy gift vouchers, so the lucky recipient can choose their own workshop.  As well as giving a fabulous gift, they will be supporting an important charity too.  All vouchers and passes are presented in attractive Brogdale gift cards.”

Brogdale’s schedule of courses includes:

  • Working with willow
  • Introduction to gardening
  • Cider making
  • Bee keeping
  • Hedgerow wine making
  • Spring and autumn Foraging walks
  • Winter and summer pruning
  • Elderflower cordial making

Sara continues: “Another great gift idea from Brogdale Collections is our Orchard Pass.  It only costs £13.50 for an adult and offers year around access to the unique orchards of rare and heritage fruit trees at Brogdale.”
