Movies in the barn

Open air cinema

Watch a film on the big screen at Brogdale

We’ve teamed up with The Roaming Cinema to bring two family musical movie experiences to the farm this summer.

Friday 5th August
The working barn will be transformed into a fantastic cinema complete with bar, fresh popcorn and an amazing 150” screen where guests can cosy up and enjoy Sing (U). The film tells the story of koala, Buster Moon, who has one final chance to restore his theatre to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. This wonderfully fun animation includes musical numbers by Elton John, Queen, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

The Greatest Showman
Saturday 17th September
Bring along a chair or blanket, find a spot on the meadow and cosy up under the stars for a fabulous open air showing of The Greatest Showman (PG) on a phenomenal 220” screen.
The films tells the story of P.T. Barnum’s dream to create the greatest show on Earth, with his big ideas for acrobats, exotic performers and unforgettable songs.

Guests at both screenings are invited to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, where dressing up and singing along is all part of the fun!
There will also be a bar, serving beers, wines, soft drinks snacks and of course, popcorn.

Sara Smile, operations manager at Brogdale, comments:
“We’re always looking for exciting ways for guests to make the most of our beautiful farm and so we’re really excited to be holding these special movie evenings. Watching a film on the farm, in the great outdoors, under the stars always makes it that little bit more magical. Guests can enjoy a lovely time at the farm, walk around and then tuck into their film treats.”

Tickets start from £8 for Sing, including entry to the farm from 10.30am and £10 for The Greatest Showman.
