Easter Holidays at Brogdale Farm

Easter Weekend 29th-31st March

Spring into Fun at Brogdale Collections’ Easter Fundraising Event on 29th-31st March.

As Easter approaches, Brogdale Collections is gearing up for an egg-citing fundraising event filled with activities for the whole family. Join us for a day of outdoor fun, Easter crafts, baby animals and face painting. But that’s not all! Explore the orchards to find the clues to win a chocolate prize, and hunt for the Easter Bunny himself! We have food stalls featuring local treats and refreshments, and you can also enjoy a guide tour of the magnificent fruit trees in blossom.

Time: 10am – 3pm

Tickets: Family ticket £23 (2 adults & 2 children 3-15 years) under 3 FREE

Adult ticket £8 (over 15)

Child ticket £5 (age 3-15)


The Miniature railway is running over the Easter weekend.  An additional fee of £1.50 per person is charged for the upkeep of the trains and track. Under 2s go free.

Blossom Tours Start 1st April

Don’t miss our guided blossom tours of the National Fruit Collection!  Immerse yourself in the beauty of spring as our knowledgeable guides lead you through rows of blossoming fruit trees, sharing insights into the fascinating world of horticulture and the importance of preserving our heritage orchards.

White Ornamental Cherry Blossom

Beastie Day – 10th April

On Beastie Day, little adventurers can get up close and meet giant insects! Then can embark on a thrilling bug hunt through our picturesque orchards, searching for hidden beasties and encountering fascinating wildlife along the way. Make bug crafts to take home.

Date: 10th April

Times: Bug Show slots at 10am, 11am and 1pm.

Bug Hunts at 11am, 12am and 2pm – no need to book just join in!

Tickets: £15.00 per child plus accompanying adult. Additional child £10.50. 

Teddy Bears’ Picnic – 12th April

Teddy Bears Picnic offers a delightful experience for youngsters and their cuddly companions. Spread out your picnic blanket, enjoy delicious treats, and participate in fun games and storytelling sessions. It’s a heartwarming event that brings families together for a blossom walk, teddy bears’ picnic – blossom crafts – teddy songs, stories and parachuting – don’t forget to bring your favourite teddy along!

Date: 12th April

Times:  10am to 3pm. Story/song time slots: 11am, 12pm & 2pm

Tickets: Child and accompanying adult £ 15.00. Additional child £7.50. Additional Adult can purchase a day pass from the Tours and Ticket Office on the day.


Hanami Blossom Day – 13th April – Under 16s FREE!

Join us for a spectacular celebration of cherry blossom season at Brogdale Farm, where visitors gather to marvel at the enchanting beauty of blooming cherry trees.

– Origami workshops and dress in kimono courtesy of The Embassy of Japan Cultural Team

– Koshu Japanese Art – Akemi Lucas – Sumi-e and calligraphy demonstration and workshops 

– Kimono Crafts with Juliet Mayo

– Talk with Naoko Abe – author of Cherry Ingram The Englishman Who Saved Japan’s Blossoms.  The story of Igham, who lived in Kent and fell in love with cherry blossoms, or sakura, and dedicated much of his life to their cultivation and preservation.

– Learn about Bonsai with Kent Bonsai Club

– Kensei taiko- drumming demonstrations and Kensei Ryu- swordsmanship

– Food from Wagamama and Mr Miyagi  – Canterbury sushi restaurant

– Chris Lane – national Collection of cherry blossom trees

– Grow Nursery – sale of cherry blossom tree

Time: 10am – 3pm

Tickets: Adult ticket (16yrs+) £15. Under 16 years are FREE
