Blossom on the trees

Join the Excitement of Hanami Blossom Day

We have a spectacular display of blossom each year, and springtime at Brogdale Farm is all about cherry blossoms and fruit tree blossom which blankets the orchards in a delicate tapestry of pink and white.

This year, we invite you to join us to celebrate Hanami Blossom Day, a traditional Japanese festival that pays homage to the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms.  As you wander through the orchards, you’ll be greeted by the sweet fragrance of blossom and the gentle hum of bees pollinating the flowers. At Brogdale Farm, we take great pride in our diverse collection of fruit tree varieties, each boasting its own unique characteristics and bloom times.

Throughout the day, we offer Japanese art and culture with a variety of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. From guided orchard tours, origami and calligraphy workshops, crafts, talks, drumming and sword demonstrations, as well as, tasty Japanese food.
